In Balboa Park, housed in historic 1935 Exposition cottages, 34 groups promote multicultural goodwill and understanding through educational and cultural programs. On Saturday, August 20, 2022, the House of Chamorros has their Grand Opening ceremony at the start of the Hafa Adai Festival. The festival features speakers, cultural food, live performances, information booths, and demonstrations.

San Diego County's own Sheriff Ray will be speaking at the event, and the San Diego County Sheriff's Department recruiting unit will be at the festival to answer any questions about the department's job opportunities and hiring process.
