BACKGROUND PRE-SCREEN

After successfully passing the written exam for Deputy Sheriff Detentions/Courts or Deputy Sheriff Law Enforcement, candidates will receive a notification of their score. Because our vacancies are quickly filling, the process is becoming more competitive. Your name will be placed on a list based on your percentage. Names will be chosen as vacancies become available. Chosen candidates will receive a notification to attend a Background Pre-screen via mail... Attendance is by invitation only.

If attending, pre-screens are typically held from 6-10pm. Please arrive early on your pre-screen date and wait outside the Sheriff's Administrative Center's front door until called. Please bring the pre-screen notification with you. Appropriate attire for pre-screen is business or court attire.
